How do I think of B777X series
In September 2011,Boeing released the information about the 777X series,including two types of aircraft which are named 777-8X and 777-9X,comparing with its predecessor 777-300ER,777-9X can contain 407 passengers,its fuselage will be 2.13 meters longer,which will be 76.5 meters and become the longest aircraft in the world,also it will have longer horizontal stabilizer and longer wings,and because the wings are so long(71.8 meters),Boeing decided to make the wings foldable on the ground.
So undeniably,777X will be an amazing type of aircraft,because all the statistics show that this is an efficient and comfortable aircraft,and of course,it will be very enjoyable to look at.In spite of Boeing assure that their new aircraft will be very safe,a lot of people still have worries in 777X's foldable wings.It is very normal that people will have concerns when they first hear of such thing like that,because it sounds very unsafe,what if the wings are not strong enough and split in half when the plane is in the air?If that really happens,the result will be disastrous.
What I want to say is flying is becoming more and more safely,and every new technology we put on an airplane is to make it safer.When Boeing came up with the idea of this type of aircraft,they must already think of the safety problems,if they make the wings foldable,they must have faith that they won't crack and it will be secured.
Other than the wings,777X series have more exciting new features,with the most powerful engine in the world GE9X,it can fly up to 10,910 miles without stopping,and because the space inside the plane is bigger,the sits will be wider and more comfortable,it will also so have bigger windows,which are all good news for passengers,so what we need to do is just to sit back,relax,and enjoy the flight.
